We’ve come a long way since our modest origins as a wholesaler of textiles in 1947.
A privately owned family business, EMA Textiles have for the last 60 years been supplying the UK high street with quality clothing covering all ages across a vast array of products.
Designing from our London based head office and manufacturing from factories in Bangladesh and China where we also have support offices, we are proud of the years of service we have provided our customers. We have been a trusted partner for many historical and current brands over decades of business.
From T shirts, to sweatshirts, dungarees to denim jeans, knitwear, to nightwear and socks, sets and seamless sportswear, EMA source and supply a wide ranging variety of babies, kids and adult clothing.
Based in the EMA head office, our sister company, Blackstone Design Ltd, offers a high fashion, speed to market design solution from Near East sources.
EMA own a share in Sock Ons which is an innovative baby essential product web-based retailer.

At EMA Textiles we have a design and development team producing garment and graphic artwork using both 2D and 3D technology. This reduces sampling and lead times. We have highly experienced account managers to ensure our customers receive a dedicated level of service. Our knowledgeable garment technologists ensure perfect fit and compliance. Also if required, we have competent logistical and warehousing support to make sure your orders are delivered on time and in perfect condition.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and work closely with our suppliers and customers to use more sustainable materials and packaging.
All EMA products are manufactured using sustainable fabric and trim options as well as utilising the latest low impact wash technology to reduce water usage.
We offer total manufacturing transparency and we only work with suppliers who are specialist, accredited and ethically and technically audited, who we have or can foresee a long term relationship with.
Our suppliers have wide ranging social, ethical and environmental, industry wide accreditations.
EMA and our suppliers work hand in hand with Jeanologia to ensure our denim and woven products are washed or finished with the minimum environmental impact.
Each style is given its own EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement) score to assess water usage with the aim to achieve a low impact result.
